| Our Collection Walking through the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is a unique experience for every visitor. Our collection focuses on regionally manufactured road transportation—that means everything from carriages and trucks to cars and motorcycles. Almost all of the vehicles we have on display were built in Southeastern Pennsylvania. You will see some extremely rare pieces you won’t find at any other museum or car show. The visitor experience is further enhanced by our building. In 1872, the Jeremiah Sweinhart Carriage Factory began building carriages and other horse-drawn vehicles right on our site in Boyertown. Horse-drawn vehicles were built here until 1926, when the carriage factory was purchased and converted into a truck body factory known as the Boyertown Auto Body Works. Our museum is now housed in these buildings. You, the visitor, will walk in the very spot where some of the trucks and carriages on display were built—making our museum very unique, indeed! | ||||||||||||
