It is with a sad heart that we need to report that the founder of our Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles (Paul R. Hafer) passed away on Sunday, October 24th, 2004.   •••   He was last at his desk in the Museum office on Friday, October 22nd  –  as was his standard practice for the past 76½ years.

His life was greatly full  –  not only in years  –  but also in many achievements, and contributions to society and community.

If you have visited this page before, you know that over the past 45 months, we have been in the process of assembling a rather comprehensive biography on Mr. Hafer.   •••   In the next several months, we hope to complete it.
